Weather Cancellation—Heading to Occoquan for a little History-2nd Try

Earlier Start Time--9am

Let's meet at Bunnyman Brewing (now open with coffee, food and beer-menus) at the Lorton Workhouse.

PARKING NOTE: Park in the parking lot next to the first entrance to the Workhouse off of Workhouse Way.

ROUTE NOTE: A total of 1/2 mile of gravel but tame, road bikes are fine.

This route will travel through 4 different parks using a variety of county trails and neighborhood streets. Along the way, we will pass by a number of historical sites, including the Suffragists Memorial. https://suffragistmemorial.org/

Ramble? What is? A leisurely tour with combination of roads and the W&OD exploring new places as well as our RBC routes.

Still, the average speed of this ride hovers at 12 mph but still leisurely. It is a good ride for retired, daytime free, new to cycling, or happy people. 

Rides are not held when the forecast for rain is greater than 50% or temperature is below 30^o. Ride cancellations will be posted on Social Media.

All riders must sign (or have already signed for 2025) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Individual membership is $30 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
