We are doing the RBC 1 Ride on Tuesday. 6:00 pm start at Hunters Woods Shopping Plaza.
1) We won't start really riding/racing until we make the left on Lawyers Rd. from Steeplechase 2) We will slow roll at the bottom of Birdfoot to allow a regroup. I don't want anyone racing down Birdfoot to try and get a gap to get away from the group on the sharp right hand turn at the bottom of Birdfoot. Then after the regroup, feel free to start hammering. 3) When we make turns onto roads we make sure it is safe for anyone behind us. This is the most important rule. In particular, the first rider at the top of the final hill on Stuart Mill is responsible for checking the intersection at Fox Mill and ensuring that the entire group can roll through safely. 4) The ride is neutral after Franklin Farm due to ensure safety in the neighborhoods. We can continue at a brisk pace, but there are too many blind left/right turns to continue at full intensity. 5) Although I periodically sweep the route to clean debris, everyone must look out for and call out items on the road that will cause a problem such as branches, gravel, etc. But overall the roads are normally fine. Lawyers always seems to accumulate branches in the bike lanes we use. 6) Do not cross over yellow lines, or cross into oncoming traffic. Do not swarm/pass cars at stop lights, stop signs, etc. 7) All riders should join RBC, complete the waiver, and sign up for the ride. 8) No TT/tri bikes, clip on aero bars, or 'puppy paws' position. No e-bikes or earbuds. Move away from other people before blowing snot rockets.

Here is the route:
We are paper-free, which means you can download the route from Ride with GPS and print it before you come, but we will not have paper cue sheets to distribute at the ride.
All riders must sign (or have already signed for 2024) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Membership is $30 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
