Meet in Park directly across from CVS

(corner of Explorer and Town Square St.)

Welcome to the kinder, gentler, Monday night ride. We are particularly focused on including, uplifting, and encouraging women who are new to group riding. Thus, it is a no drop ride. This means you will not be left behind. We always have a sweep to stay with riders who have a mechanical issue or are struggling to keep up.  If you've been afraid to join a group ride because you think you'll hold people back or can't keep up, THIS is YOUR ride.

The ride leaders for this ride are all trained League Certified Instructors. We can (and will) coach you on everything from when/how to shift to how to change lanes safely and everything in between.

We are in the waning days of evening light, so we are serious about starting the ride at 5:30. That means be on your bike, with your helmet and lights, and ready to ride AT 5:30.

If you want a more competitive drop ride, and faster speeds, please consider the RBC Monday Night Green Lizard Womens' Ride.  Please review the speed requirements for that ride.

And if you want a more sustained riding experience, but still no drop, try the Thursday evening Women's Ride which starts at the Lake House in Reston (near Lake Anne). Please note that although it is a no-drop ride, you should respect their advertised speed.

Rides are not held when the forecast for rain is greater than 50%. Ride cancellations will be posted on Social Media. If you are not comfortable riding on the roads, please contact one of us before you register for the ride.

Here is the route. Note there is a bailout when the ride crosses the back near Reston Town Center.

We will not have paper cue sheets to distribute at the ride. Although we will stay together, please download the ride so you become familiar with using a Ride w/GPS route. Your riding pleasure should never depend on someone else 'knowing the route'.

Parking at Reston Town Center is free after 5pm. If you use the garage, be mindful if you carry your car on the top of your car.

All riders must sign (or have already signed for 2023) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Membership is $25 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
