Healthy Living Through Chocolate

Who Doesn't Love Chocolate?

River-Sea Chocolate Factory is celebrating their anniversary by opening their production space and offering folks an opportunity to make your own chocolate treats ($10 for each one). If you don't want to make chocolate, for $5 you can indulge in the showroom with special treats included.

We've allowed for a long time on this ride so that people won't feel rushed while we're down there. You don't have to stay - you'll have the route and are welcome to head back on your own time schedule.

But if you want to join us going there you must do two things:

1) Register for this ride;

2) Visit their eventbrite to sign up (even if you don't plan to spend any money so they can anticipate numbers) by clicking on this link:   Chocolate Binge (There is a free option to pay $5 at the door, but you still register on the site)

Other details:

We are all adults. If chocolate is lunch for you, yay. If not, take a close look at the destination address (4520 Daly Dr. Chantilly) and the surrounding dining establishments. Pick one and we'll probably follow you! The alternative is that you can pack a lunch.

This ride is designed for beginners so we'll keep our speed down and coach riders through intersections that appear to be challenging (but aren't once you know how to read them). If you're not a beginner,  you're still welcome but manage your expectations for speed, please. We will average no more than 12mph.

Limited to 15 people including ride leaders. You will need to bring $$ for your chocolate stash.

Helmets are required, red tail lights are preferred (rather than red reflectors).
