Welcome to the kinder, gentler, Monday night ride. We are particularly focused on including, uplifting, and encouraging women who are new to group riding. Thus, it is a no drop ride. This means you will not be left behind. We always have a sweep to stay with riders who have a mechanical issue or are struggling to keep up. If you've been afraid to join a group ride because you think you'll hold people back or can't keep up, THIS is YOUR ride.
The ride leaders for this ride are all trained League Certified Instructors. We can (and will) coach you on everything from when/how to shift to how to change lanes safely and everything in between.
All that said, we are serious about starting the ride at 5:45. That means be on your bike, with your helmet and lights, and ready to ride AT 5:45.
After the ride some of us regularly convene at Taco Zocalo for refreshment/dinner. Please join us if you can!
If you want a more sustained riding experience, but still no drop, try the Thursday evening Women's Ride which starts at the Lake House in Reston (near Lake Anne).
Rides are not held when the forecast for rain is greater than 50%. Ride cancellations will be posted on Social Media. If you are not comfortable riding on the roads, please contact one of us before you register for the ride.

We are paper free. We will not have cue sheets. It's your responsibility to load the route onto a device or stay within visibility distance of someone who knows the route.
If you drive to the ride start, please park as far away from the building as possible. There are other organizations/businesses in that building whose patrons need access. Thank you!
The Bike Lane is CLOSED on Monday, so please plan accordingly!
All riders must sign (or have already signed for 2022) a liability waiver. You can do that HERE. The first ride with us is free. We welcome you to join us on subsequent rides as a member. Membership is $25 per year and you can take care of that HERE.
