Last Sunday Brunch Adventure Rides

Several members have been asking for a series of more social rides with a slower pace, an enjoyable destination, and no urgency to get anywhere by anytime. 

Introducing the Last Sunday Brunch Adventure Rides brought to you by Reston Bicycle Club.

These rides will be limited to 25 riders, no more than 20 miles one way. We won’t ride as a peleton, but we won’t be far out of each other’s sight. In other words, no land-speed records being set here.

The starting points and destinations will not be revealed until the riders sign up. That’s part of the adventure.

But we can assure you this:

1. The destination will always involve food (bring your wallet because we’re leading but not buying!)
2. Reservations at the destination will be made ahead of time so the proprietors will be bike-ready and bike-friendly.
3. No one gets left behind unless they want to be.
   
4. Every rider must wear a helmet.

We will depart by 9:30 each Sunday, and hope to be back by 1. But we’re all adults, so if you want to stay longer at the destination or go your own way after brunch, by all means, have a great time.

Well behaved adults are welcome, and children who have those same standards may bring their parents if they can vouch for their behavior as well.

If a non-riding spouse/partner/friend wants to meet us at the destination for brunch, we need to account for them in the reservation totals, so please let us know.

First adventure will be on Sunday, November 26. The menu will be BBQ because by then, everyone will be tired of turkey!
