Training ride #2

Once again we will be partnering with Life Time Cycle Club to prepare for the Reston Bike Century. Our second training ride will feature three groups.  The "A" group will average around 19 MPH and will ride around 45 miles.  The "B" Group will average above 16.5 MPH and also ride around 45 miles.  The "C" Group will serve both as a training group and a teaching group.  We will focus on how to ride safely in groups. Reston Bicycle Club welcomes bicycling-related organizations and non-profits to apply for a grant to further their work. The Club will provide up to $1000 per approved grant. Grants are reviewed at the next Executive Board Meeting following the request. Candidates will be informed of grant decision after the meeting.
